Projects making a real difference

Assalamu Alaikum, By the grace of Almighty Allah, we hope everyone is in good health and well-being. As per the decision taken in the Admin Panel meeting held on 14 February 2026 under the 7th Executive Committee of We Work for Humanity (WWH) Foundation, the “Ramadan Iftar Gift Project – 2026” was officially announced. For this project, a standard Iftar package was finalized through collective discussion in the meeting. Each package included essential food items such as 1 kg chickpeas, 500g lentils, 500g sugar, 500g puffed rice, dates (equivalent to BDT 120–130), 500 ml oil, and 6 pieces of Tang. The estimated market value of each package was set at BDT 530, and a total of 26 packages were approved from the organization’s reserve fund, with a budget of BDT 13,780. Additionally, 5 special packages were enhanced with extra Sahri items, including 10 kg rice, 2 broiler chickens, along with onions, garlic, potatoes, gram flour, ginger, and flattened rice (chira). The additional cost for these extended items was generously covered by one respected panel member and a valued donor. These prepared packages were distributed among underprivileged fasting families across multiple locations: In Rajarbagh, Dhaka – coordinated by Ali Hayder Sagar In 60 Feet Mirpur, Dhaka – coordinated by Umme Sumaiya Shabnam In Kaliganj & Kotchandpur, Jhenaidah – coordinated by Jahirul Islam In Chandpur – with local support from Bosir Uddin In Shekhar Village, Boalmari, Faridpur – with local support from Khandakar Jillur Rahman and Khandakar Shimul All these distributions were completed before the beginning of Ramadan. Furthermore, in Islampur and Ulia, Jamalpur, the packages were distributed on the 3rd day of Ramadan by Faria Yasmin among underprivileged fasting families. We pray that Almighty Allah accepts the generous contributions of all donors. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed their time, effort, ideas, and support to make this project successful. May Allah accept the efforts of Team WWH in serving humanity—Ameen.

With the generous contributions of our respected donors, Team WWH successfully distributed a total of 230 blankets on 23 January 2026 across two locations in Bangladesh. Among these, 120 blankets were distributed in Panchagarh, the northernmost district of the country, and 110 blankets were distributed in Tilakpur Union of Joypurhat District.
