Iftar and food gift distribution at the Orphanage Madrasa

"On 14 March 2026 (20th Ramadan), our organization’s team visited Mohammadiya Orphanage and Madrasa, Mirpur-14, to share the blessings of Ramadan with orphaned and underprivileged children. As part of this special initiative, the team arranged and distributed Iftar meals among the orphan and needy students, allowing them to break their fast together in a warm and caring environment. In addition, a significant amount of essential food supplies was purchased and handed over to the madrasa to help address the ongoing food shortages faced by the institution. The donated items included: 1. Rice 2. Masoor Lentils 3. Potatoes 4. Cooking Oil 5. Dano Milk Powder 6. Vermicelli (Semai) 7. Sugar 8. Raisins 9. 12 Panjabis (Traditional Attire) for 12 orphan students This project was undertaken to support the orphaned and disadvantaged children of the madrasa and to help ease their food insecurity. Many people may be surprised to learn that even in 2026, numerous small orphanages and madrasas continue to struggle with genuine food shortages and limited resources. Through this initiative, we aimed to provide both immediate relief and encouragement to the children and caretakers of the institution. We are deeply grateful to all donors and supporters whose generous contributions made this project possible.
